SPONSOR.
The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Mortgage Research Center, LLC (d/b/a Veterans United Home Loans), a VA-approved lender (mortgage licensee - NMLS #1907) but not affiliated with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency, and having a place of business at 1400 Forum Blvd. Ste. 18, Columbia, Missouri 65203.
ELIGIBILITY.
Eligibility to win the "Veterans United Home Loans Thanks to Veterans Home Giveaway" sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes" or "Promotion"), also known by the names “Thanks to Veterans Giveaway", “Thanks to Veterans Sweepstakes" or any other name the Sponsor may deem appropriate for promotional purposes, is open to any Qualifying Veteran (as defined below), so long as the entrant is not an Ineligible Person (defined below), so long as the entrant is Domiciled in one of the fifty (50) States of the United States of America or the District of Columbia (D.C.) at the time of entering the Sweepstakes, so long as the entrant is at least the age of majority, be it 18 years of age or an older age, in the State (or D.C.) of their Domicile at the time of entering the Sweepstakes, and so long as entrant is otherwise eligible in accordance with, and is not disqualified under, these Rules (each, an "Eligible Person").

For purposes of these Rules, the following terms have the following indicated meanings:

"Domicile," means the place established as a person's permanent, principal residence and to which, whenever the person is absent, the person intends to return, even though the person may actually temporarily reside elsewhere (often, the place where a person is entitled to vote). For example, a person who is stationed at a military installation in the State of Colorado but who is, or could lawfully be, registered to vote in the State of Missouri and who intends to return to the State of Missouri upon ceasing service in the United States military is probably Domiciled in Missouri even while temporarily located in Colorado.

A "Qualifying Veteran" means a person who, at the time of entry in the Sweepstakes, (i) is then currently serving as a Servicemember (defined below) or (ii) formerly served as a Servicemember and was discharged or separated with a character of service of “Honorable Discharge." Persons who received any type of discharge, separation, or character of service other than "honorable," such as a general discharge, a general discharge under honorable conditions, a bad conduct discharge or a dishonorable discharge, do not meet the definition of a "Qualifying Veteran" and are ineligible to win the Sweepstakes (except servicemembers separated solely due to sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status are still eligible).

The term "Servicemember" means a person who is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Air Force Reserve, or Coast Guard Reserve.

"Ineligible Person(s)" means: employees, directors and officers of Sponsor or any of their respective affiliates, parent company, subsidiaries or divisions ("Sponsor Entities") and their immediate family members and household members. As used in these Rules, "immediate family member(s)” refers to spouses, parents, step- parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, and the respective spouses of any such persons. As used in these Rules, "household member(s)” refers to persons living in the same residence as one or more of the above-mentioned employees, directors, officers or immediate family members.

As used in these Rules, the term "you," "your" or the like, refers to any person who enters or seeks to enter or participate in the Promotion, but in no event shall any use of any such term (nor shall any provision making use of any such term) be construed as expanding or otherwise changing who may qualify as an Eligible Person, as set forth in these Rules.

Titles 10, 32 and 38 of the United States Code, and the federal regulations, rules and publications of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, will influence the interpretation of definitions and other terms of these Official Rules, including as to eligibility for winning this Sweepstakes, but Sponsor remains free at all times to interpret the definitions set forth in these Official Rules, and all other terms of these Official Rules and their application, in its sole and absolute discretion, all of which interpretations shall be final and binding.

Sponsor is free to determine eligibility, or ineligibility, using such rigor, method(s), review, verification, research, document requests and information requests as it chooses in its sole and absolute discretion. AN ENTRANT, HOWEVER, AS A CONDITION TO BEING NAMED THE WINNER OF THE PRIZE, MUST PROVIDE SUCH PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY AS IS SET FORTH IN THE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH, AND MUST DO SO WITHIN SUCH TIME FRAME AS SPONSOR REQUESTS; FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUCH PROOF OR FAILURE TO DO SO WITHIN SUCH TIME FRAME AS SPONSOR REQUIRES (WHICH TIME ASPECT IS OF THE ESSENCE OF THESE RULES) WILL, IN SPONSOR'S SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION AND WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE, DISQUALIFY THE ENTRANT FROM BEING NAMED A WINNER AND FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. YOU MAY NOT ENTER THIS PROMOTION IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN. IF INELIGIBLE ENTRIES ARE SUBMITTED IN THIS PROMOTION, WHETHER OR NOT SELECTED IN A DRAWING (OR OTHERWISE SELECTED), THEY ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THE WINNING OF ANY PRIZE IN THE PROMOTION.

An entrant shall be required to provide documents (originals or copies, as requested) deemed satisfactory to Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, including, but not limited to, DD Form(s) 214 (or other applicable service records reflecting final character of service), or current statement(s) of service signed by the entrant's unit commander, adjutant or other officer, and may also be required to provide NGB Form(s) 22, NGB Form(s) 23, VA Form(s) 26-1817, VA Form(s) 21-534, Uniformed Services I.D. Card, Certificate(s) of Eligibility (COE) relating to U.S. Veterans Administration loans, current military identification, current enlistment contract, recently certified marriage license (if relevant), recently certified death certificate (if relevant), signed and notarized affidavit(s), and/or a fingerprint card for a background check (criminal and/or otherwise). These are just examples; some of these examples might not be relevant to you, and, regardless of such relevance, additional and/or other documentation may be required of you.
SWEEPSTAKES TIMING/DESCRIPTION.
The Sweepstakes is open and able to be entered during the following period (the "Promotion Period"): beginning at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on November 10, 2021 (the "Start Time"); and ending at 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2021 (the "End Time").
HOW TO ENTER; LIMITS ON ENTRIES.
You may enter the Sweepstakes as many as five (5) times: once by way of the Regular Entry Method; and once by way of each of the Bonus Entry Methods provided for in these Rules. YOU ARE PERMITTED, AT MOST, ONLY FIVE (5) ENTRIES IN THE SWEEPSTAKES (AND THUS, AT MOST, ONLY FIVE (5) CHANCES TO WIN). If more than five entries are attempted, submitted or received with respect to a given person, or if more than one entry is attempted, submitted or received with respect to a given person by way of the same method of entry (be it the Regular Entry Method or any of the Bonus Entry Methods), then up to all entries for that person may be disqualified in the Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion.
1. The Regular Entry Method. Eligible Persons may enter the Sweepstakes by doing the following during the Promotion Period (the "Regular Entry Method"): visit the Sweepstakes Site (defined below) online; and complete and submit the online entry form available there in accordance with all instructions there. Performing, or attempting to perform, any of these steps indicates your agreement to these Rules. Provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, completing these steps and Sponsor’s receipt of your completed online entry form will result in one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes, subject to the other terms of these Rules. An entry in the Promotion by way of the Regular Entry Method may be referred to as a "Regular Entry." "Sweepstakes Site" means the online web page at https://www.thankstoveterans.com or such other, or additional, online destination Sponsor might designate for entering the Promotion by way of the Regular Entry Method. Completion of a Regular Entry will also result in display of a confirmation form acknowledging your entry ("Confirmation Form"); the Confirmation Form will also provide for the Bonus Entry opportunities provided for below.
2. The No. 1 Bonus Entry Method. Eligible Persons who have entered the Sweepstakes by way of the Regular Entry Method may also enter the Sweepstakes one additional time (and thereby obtain one additional chance to win), by clicking on one of the social media buttons (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) during the Promotion Period that will be presented online to Promotion participants after they have completed the steps comprising the Regular Entry Method, provided that the social media button so clicked on is not the same button clicked on to obtain a No. 2 Bonus Entry, a No. 3 Bonus Entry, or a No. 4 Bonus Entry (the "No. 1 Bonus Entry Method"). Completion of these steps indicates agreement to these Rules on the part of the entrant and, provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, will result in one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes (a "No. 1 Bonus Entry"), subject to the other terms of these Rules.
3. The No. 2 Bonus Entry Method. Eligible Persons who have entered the Sweepstakes by way of the Regular Entry Method may also enter the Sweepstakes one additional time (and thereby obtain one additional chance to win), by clicking on one of the social media buttons (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) during the Promotion Period that will be presented online to Promotion participants after they have completed the steps comprising the Regular Entry Method, provided that the social media button so clicked on is not the same button clicked on to obtain a No. 1 Bonus Entry, a No. 3 Bonus Entry, or a No. 4 Bonus Entry (the "No. 2 Bonus Entry Method"). Completion of these steps indicates agreement to these Rules on the part of the entrant and, provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, will result in one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes (a "No. 2 Bonus Entry"), subject to the other terms of these Rules.

Eligible Persons who have entered the Sweepstakes by way of the Regular Entry Method may also enter the Sweepstakes one additional time (and thereby obtain one additional chance to win), by clicking on one of the social media buttons (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) during the Promotion Period that will be presented online to Promotion participants after they have completed the steps comprising the Regular Entry Method, provided that the social media button so clicked on is not the same button clicked on to obtain a No. 1 Bonus Entry, a No. 2 Bonus Entry, or a No. 4 Bonus Entry (the "No. 3 Bonus Entry Method"). Completion of these steps indicates agreement to these Rules on the part of the entrant and, provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, will result in one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes (a "No. 3 Bonus Entry"), subject to the other terms of these Rules.
5. The No. 4 Bonus Entry Method. Eligible Persons who have entered the Sweepstakes by way of the Regular Entry Method may also enter the Sweepstakes one additional time (and thereby obtain one additional chance to win), by clicking on one of the social media buttons (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) during the Promotion Period that will be presented online to Promotion participants after they have completed the steps comprising the Regular Entry Method, provided that the social media button so clicked on is not the same button clicked on to obtain a No. 1 Bonus Entry, a No. 2 Bonus Entry, or a No. 3 Bonus Entry (the "No. 4 Bonus Entry Method"). Completion of these steps indicates agreement to these Rules on the part of the entrant and, provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, will result in one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes (a "No. 4 Bonus Entry"), subject to the other terms of these Rules.
A No. 1 Bonus Entry, a No. 2 Bonus Entry, a No. 3 Bonus Entry, and/or a No. 4 Bonus Entry each may be referred to as a "Bonus Entry(ies).”

The No. 1 Bonus Entry Method, the No. 2 Bonus Entry Method, the No. 3 Bonus Entry Method, and/or the No. 4 Bonus Entry Method each may be referred to as a "Bonus Entry Method(s).”

CERTAIN TERMS REGARDING ENTRIES. Entries that have been submitted or generated by a script, macro, bot or any other automated means may be disqualified in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, postage due, late or inaccurate are ineligible. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor's decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. If a dispute arises as to, or in Sponsor’s estimation a lack of clarity arises as to, the identity of an online entrant, Sponsor will be free to resolve such circumstance in its sole and absolute discretion; such discretion includes, without limitation, that Sponsor will be free to determine that the online entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry and that Sponsor will be free to disqualify any such entry and/or any associated entrant. For these purposes, Sponsor is further free to conclude that the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Sweepstakes Site's database clock will be the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not required to verify, confirm or comment on information submitted, entries made or attempted, status, eligibility or any particular entrant or entry, nor otherwise respond to inquiries regarding the Promotion, except as expressly specified in these Rules.

AUTHORIZATION TO SEND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS. By entering the Sweepstakes using the Regular Entry Method, you authorize the Sponsor and its respective affiliates and independent contractors to make use of the email address, home, office and cellular telephone numbers and any other information you submit to send you electronically or in any other format, privacy policies, marketing communications, updates, information and tips relating to real estate, mortgage, financing, credit, homes, moving, home improvement and related subjects until such time (or a reasonable time thereafter) as you withdraw such authorization (e.g., by unsubscribing from such messages via an un-subscribe link in an email message you might receive). Sponsor and its respective designees remain free to contact you by email, text, phone call or otherwise, however, for any purpose relating to operation or administration of the Sweepstakes.

COMPLIANCE WITH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS’ RULES. You agree to comply with all of the rules, terms of use, policies and guidelines of any social media platform or facilities (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.) (each, a "Social Platform") you use in connection with this Promotion or that relates to your participation in this Promotion. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS PROMOTION IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY ANY SOCIAL PLATFORM, NOR BY COMPANY(IES) OR PERSON(S) OWNING, OPERATING OR OFFERING ANY SOCIAL PLATFORM (EACH, A "SOCIAL PLATFORM OPERATOR"). YOU AGREE THAT NO SUCH SOCIAL PLATFORM OR SOCIAL PLATFORM OPERATOR SHALL HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THIS PROMOTION.
THE PRIZE.
A single (1) prize will be available to be won and awarded in this Sweepstakes (the "Prize"), as described below.

THE PRIZE. The "Prize," the awarding of which will be subject to the terms and conditions of these Rules, will consist of funding of up to five hundred thousand dollars in U.S. currency (US$500,000) which can only be used by the winner (as defined below) to (1) pay taxes owed as a result of winning the Prize and (2) either for making a Qualifying Purchase (defined below) of a home that the Winner (as defined below) newly purchases and will own and occupy as Winner’s primary residence, or for making a Qualifying Payoff (defined below) on a home to that the winner currently owns and occupies as Winner’s primary residence.

The fair market value ("FMV") of the Prize is the amount of funding received by the Winner and shall not exceed US$500,000.

A "Qualifying Purchase" of a home for purposes of these Rules means a bona fide new purchase of a home located in one of the fifty (50) States of the United States of America or the District of Columbia, where such purchase is one: (i) that is in full compliance with these Rules and all applicable laws, regulations, codes and contractual obligations; (ii) that does not include use of any part of the Prize to pay off, pay down, reduce or otherwise off-set any existing mortgage, encumbrance, loan or debt; (iii) that is not occupied by the Winner or any of Winner's immediate family members within one year prior to the purchase; (iv) that does not involve a purchase from (or sale to) any of Winner's immediate family members; and (v) for which the closing is completed within one hundred eighty (180) days after the entrant is notified that they have been confirmed as the Winner of the Prize (or, if the Winner is deployed, or has orders to deploy, when so notified, within one hundred eighty (180) days after the date the Winner's deployment ends). If this time requirement is for any reason not met, then such entrant may be deemed by Sponsor (in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion) to have declined to accept the Prize. Sponsor reserves the right, however, in its sole and absolute discretion, to extend the deadline to close on the home purchase transaction.

A "Qualifying Payoff" of a home for purposes of these Rules means a payoff of an existing mortgage on a home located in one of the fifty (50) States of the United States of America or the District of Columbia, where such payoff is one: (i) that is in full compliance with these Rules and all applicable laws, regulations, codes and contractual obligations; (ii) that uses the Prize to pay off, pay down, reduce or otherwise off-set any existing mortgage, encumbrance, loan or debt that Winner is currently obligated on, and for a home that Winner currently occupies as their primary residence; (iii) for which the Winner provides documentation of the current mortgage obligation within thirty (30) days after the entrant is notified that they have been confirmed as the Winner of the Prize (or, if the Winner is deployed, or has orders to deploy, when so notified, within thirty (30) days after the date the Winner's deployment ends). If this time requirement is for any reason not met, then such entrant may be deemed by Sponsor (in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion) to have declined to accept the Prize. Once Sponsor has received sufficient documentation of the mortgage obligation, Sponsor will have another thirty (30) days to complete the mortgage payoff. Winner is responsible for making all mortgage payments unless the payoff is completed. Sponsor reserves the right, however, in its sole and absolute discretion, to extend the deadline to complete the mortgage payoff.

Winner is responsible for any balance of home purchase price or existing mortgage balance due after remittance of the Prize amount (less any tax withholding), and all other fees, expenses, costs, insurance, escrow amounts, taxes (whether real estate taxes, transfer taxes, stamp taxes, recording fees, sales tax, use tax, property tax or otherwise) and other amounts whatsoever, as well as any federal, state, or local income taxes due as to the Prize.

You acknowledge that the amount of taxes due related to the Prize may vary based on the applicable federal, State and local tax laws, and the Winner is solely responsible for all such amounts.

WINNER IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE THE SERVICES OF A TAX ADVISOR, AT THE WINNER'S SOLE EXPENSE, TO ASSIST WINNER IN CONSIDERING AND MAKING ANY NEEDED DETERMINATIONS BEFORE THE AWARDING OF THE PRIZE.

Notwithstanding any terms of these Rules (including, without limitation, any examples set forth in these Rules), Sponsor shall have the right to withhold funds from any Prize-related remittance to the extent Sponsor determines to be necessary or advisable to meet or anticipate any federal, State, local or other tax withholding obligations, or other obligations, of Sponsor or Winner.

Winner will not be entitled to the maximum prize amount if the Qualifying Purchase amount or the Qualifying Payoff amount, plus any tax responsibility is less than $500,000.The maximum amount that Winner can request to be withheld for income tax responsibility is 40% of the Qualifying purchase amount or the Qualifying Payoff amount. Winner acknowledges their Prize will not include any amount above the home purchase price and any amount set aside for tax responsibility if the total of these amounts is less than $500,000.

CERTAIN CONDITIONS. The Prize is conditioned as follows, as is any entrant being named the Winner and/or being entitled to the Prize:

Winner must provide such proof of eligibility as Sponsor may request, and must do so within such time frame as Sponsor may request;

Winner must comply with, and at all relevant times be in compliance with, these Rules, including, without limitation, Section 3 hereof ["Eligibility"], this Section 6 ["The Prize"], Section 7 hereof ["Determination and Announcement of Winner"] and Section 8 hereof ["Certain Conditions of Participation, Winning"];

Winner shall be responsible for all local, State, federal and other taxes relating to winning the Sweepstakes or receiving the Prize, for all related reporting, filing and other obligations, and for determining what such tax liabilities are and what such reporting, filing and other obligations are. Sponsor will not gross up the Prize under any circumstances to cover taxes or other costs that must be paid by the Winner. Sponsor will issue an IRS 1099 form, and/or any other applicable local, State or federal forms, for the value of the Prize; and

You shall be responsible, at your own expense, for retaining such tax and other professional advisors as you deem prudent, it being hereby acknowledged by you that Sponsor strongly recommends that any entrant named a potential Winner retain such professional advisors.

Any failure of any of these conditions at any time with respect to any entrant named the Winner or potential Winner of the Prize may result in disqualification of such entrant in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion, in which case the Prize (and any rights or interests with respect to the Prize) will be deemed forfeited by such entrant and Sponsor will be free (with or without notice) to select an alternative entrant as the potential Winner (and subsequently the Winner) of the Prize.

Only one (1) Prize will be awarded.

The odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. (For example, if exactly 100,000 eligible entries were received then the odds of any given eligible entry being drawn from among all eligible entries to win the Prize would be 1 chance in 100,000.)

Any and all taxes, fees and other costs not specifically stated within these Rules as being included as part of the Prize are solely the responsibility of the Winner. The Winner is responsible for all taxes, fees and other costs associated with the receipt, use or enjoyment of the Prize, except as may be explicitly provided to the contrary in these Rules. The Prize may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for substitute property, except at the Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if Sponsor determines (which it may do in its sole and absolute discretion) the designated prize is unavailable or unworkable for any reason.

WINNER, AND EACH ENTRANT, AGREES THAT SPONSOR AND ITS RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES AND SUBSIDIARIES, HAVE NOT MADE, AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR, ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE PRIZE OR THE SWEEPSTAKES.
DETERMINATION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER.
The potential Winner of the Prize will be selected in a random drawing approximately the week of January 3rd, 2022, from among the entries received. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designee on Sponsor's behalf. Sponsor's decisions are final on all matters relating to the determination of the Winner.

The potential Winner will be notified (by electronic mail, overnight courier, telephone, U.S. mail or otherwise) promptly after the drawing. The potential Winner will be required, as a condition to being named the Winner and receiving the Prize, to submit a signed statement and fingerprint card of a form and content acceptable to Sponsor that, among other things, verifies and allows Sponsor to investigate and verify their identity, eligibility, residence, mailing address, background (criminal and/or otherwise), military status and other information, confirms agreement to these Rules, represents eligibility under and compliance with these Rules, confirms a release of claims and of the Released Parties (defined below) not inconsistent with these Rules and agrees to accept the Prize and to do so subject to all Prize parameters, conditions, requirements and limitations (a "Prize Release"). Whether as part of the Prize Release or separately, the potential Winner may also be required, as a condition to being named the Winner and receiving the Prize, to submit a signed publicity release for the Sponsor (unless prohibited by law), a Federal, State and/or local tax release, proof of existing mortgage and proof of ownership of current home, and such other proof, documentation and other information as may be requested by Sponsor and is not inconsistent with these Rules. The forgoing is in addition to obligations provided for elsewhere in these Rules, such as at Section 3 hereof ["Eligibility"], Section 6 hereof ["The Prize"], Section 7 hereof ["Determination and Announcement of Winner"] and Section 8 hereof ["Certain Conditions of Participation, Winning"].

The potential Winner must return any requested documents, properly executed, within such time as may be requested by Sponsor, but in any case not later than within three (3) business days of issuance of notification and provision to him/her of such documents, including but not limited to authorization to complete a background check (criminal and/or otherwise) and a completed fingerprint card to facilitate the completion of a background check (criminal and/or otherwise). Non-compliance within this time frame or with these Rules, or if the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable or otherwise ineffective, may result in the entrant being disqualified (with or without notice), and the Prize being awarded to another entrant.

In the event that a potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, or refuses to accept the Prize, the Prize will be awarded to an alternate entrant, based on the next randomly selected entry, and the same process and requirements as set forth in these Rules (as to a potential Winner) may be applied to any such alternate entrant who Sponsor identifies as a potential alternate winner of the Prize.

If after being finally confirmed as the Winner, but before the Prize is finally and fully awarded, the Winner becomes deceased, then Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion and without notice, satisfy Sponsor's obligation as to the Prize by waiving the requirement of a home purchase or mortgage payoff and remitting the Prize amount (less any tax withholding) to the estate of the Winner, in which case Sponsor may condition such remittance on its receipt of such documentation as Sponsor may reasonably request.

The person designated by the Sponsor as the final winner of a Prize in this Promotion and complying with these Rules (the "Winner") and not deemed disqualified or otherwise ineligible by Sponsor consistent with these Rules will be entitled to the Prize.

Sponsor anticipates announcing the Winner of the Sweepstakes on or about January 31st, 2022. Such announcement may be made earlier, however, in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Such announcement may also be made later if the time taken for the process of finally naming a Winner (e.g., if such process involves alternative potential Winner(s)) is extended. Winner must be available to participate in publicity on the date of the announcement and as otherwise requested by the Sponsor, including, without limitation, from the day the Winner is confirmed in writing as the Winner, through the date that is thirty (30) business days from said confirmation date, in order to receive the Prize; unavailability, or insufficient availability, may result in disqualification in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion and with or without notice.

Sponsor anticipates that actual awarding and remittance of the Prize will be made by Sponsor and will occur at, and/or on or about the time of, the closing of the home purchase transaction or after appropriate mortgage payoff documentation has been received by Sponsor. Remittance of the Prize may be made, in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion, and in whole or in part, on behalf of Winner (for example, into escrow in connection with the closing of a home purchase transaction).

An entrant named the Winner (or named the potential Winner) must cooperate with Sponsor to arrange for designees of Sponsor to be present at the closing of the home purchase transaction, to make certain presentations at the closing and to film, photograph and otherwise record such presentations and other aspects of the closing for the promotional and other purposes of Sponsor, and Winner must participate in (e.g., interviews) and cooperate with Sponsor with respect to such matters as requested by Sponsor.
CERTAIN CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION, WINNING.
By entering, or attempting to enter, the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Rules, including, but not limited to, all eligibility requirements, and represent that you are, in fact, an Eligible Person. Sponsor will collect personal identifying information from the entrants for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, notifying and disclosing any Winner and/or potential Winner and, with respect to any Prize winner, promotion of Sponsor's business relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor will not share such personal identifying information with any un-affiliated third parties, except as necessary for the foregoing purposes (e.g., administration of the Sweepstakes) or except as otherwise provided by these Rules or in their respective privacy policies (i.e., the Sponsor Privacy Policy, defined below), authorized by the entrant or required by law or legal process. Except insofar as use is otherwise permitted under these Rules, Sponsor's use of personal identifying information submitted by entrants in connection with this Sweepstakes will be subject to the terms and conditions stated in its Privacy Policies available at https://www.veteransunited.com/privacy/ (the "Sponsor Privacy Policy"). All materials submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By accepting, and as a condition to being awarded, a prize, a winner (1) consents to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, photograph, voice, persona and biographical material and entry submission for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes by Sponsor and/or another party designated by Sponsor, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to, any online announcements, or for sharing this information with the press or media for viewing, whether via TV, radio, social media, email, broadcast, Internet, print or otherwise, throughout the world, for ninety-nine (99) years, without monetary or other compensation and without further notification or permission, except insofar as prohibited by applicable law and (2) agrees to cooperate with Sponsor and its respective designees regarding post-Sweepstakes promotional efforts Sponsor may wish to undertake in order to publicize its business, the Sweepstakes, the Winner, the winning of the Prize, the particular use(s) to which the Winner puts or plans to put the Prize, how the Prize affects the Winner and other related aspects, which cooperation may include, without limitation, recorded interviews, photo or video opportunities and other events that may involve the Winner. You agree to abide by the terms of these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Rules. You understand that after being named a Winner or potential Winner of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor Companies (as defined below) may disclose to you plans, activities or information related to matters such as promotion of the possible or actual winning, receipt or use of the Prize, and you agree that all of such information will be deemed to be CONFIDENTIAL to the Sponsor Companies and you agree, therefore, not to disclose such information to any other person or company and not to use any such information without written authorization from Sponsor. You also authorize Sponsor and/or its respective designee(s), to perform a background check(s) as to you and your relations and household members of such scope and for such purposes as Sponsor deems appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion, including but not limited to, determination of whether you will be awarded the Prize and/or disqualified from the Sweepstakes, consistent with these Rules; provided that to the extent additional authorization is necessary under law, the potential winner shall authorize such background check(s).

ENTRANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SPONSOR IS OFFERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES IN SIGNIFICANT PART TO PROMOTE ITS BRAND AND BUILD POSITIVE GOODWILL FOR SPONSOR, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, AMONG OTHER THINGS, POST-SWEEPSTAKES ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION OF SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONCLUSION AND WINNING OF THE SWEEPSTAKES. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any potential winner based on the results of background check(s), or other information available to Sponsor, if Sponsor determines in its sole and absolute discretion that awarding the Prize to such potential winner (or any publicity relating to such potential winner, their immediate family members, relations or household members) might reflect unfavorably on Sponsor, any Released Party or their respective name, brand, reputation or business for any reason. Factors that could result in disqualification of a potential winner are not limited and they include, without limitation, any felony or misdemeanor, delinquency on debts or obligations, an act or omission involving moral turpitude, infliction of harm upon others or their property, or any factors suggesting a lack of moral character, good reputation or judgment, financial responsibility, an affiliation with organized crime or persons of notorious or unsavory reputation or who have police records, or any failure to authorize (or confirm authorization of) a background check. In the event of any disqualification, Sponsor may award the Prize to an alternative entrant.

USE AND SHARING OF REGISTRATION DATA AND SURVEY INFORMATION.

Registration Data. Without limiting what is permissible under applicable law or otherwise under these Rules, Sponsor, its parent company and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates (each a "Sponsor Company"), either directly and/or through its advertising or promotion agencies, service providers, contractors or other designees, may use the Registration Information (defined below) to send marketing, advertising, informational and other messages to you, and, with respect to email and text messages, may do so until such time (or a reasonable time thereafter) that you unsubscribe from receiving further such messages by way of an un-subscribe link included in such an email or text message you might receive from a Sponsor Company. "Registration Information" means any and all information, including, without limitation, your name, address data, email address and phone number(s) if submitted by you in connection with entering the Promotion (but not including Survey Information).

Survey Information. Insofar as Survey Information is provided by you, each of the Sponsor Companies may use the Survey Information for any purposes not contrary to the Sponsor Privacy Policy (defined above) and not contrary to such laws and regulations as are applicable to the relevant Sponsor Company and any such use by it of the Survey Information. "Survey Information" means any and all information submitted by you in connection with your responding to any survey questions (or information prompts) presented to you as part of any process of entering the Promotion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, INDEMNITY AND DISCLAIMERS.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT IN THE AGGREGATE (REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS OR CLAIMANTS, AND REGARDLESS OF THE TIMING OF CLAIMS) EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE(S) DESCRIBED IN THESE RULES, NOR FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, THE FOREGOING EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS BEING INTENDED TO APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE BASIS OF, OR THEORY OF RELIEF REGARDING, ANY CLAIM OR ACTION (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY FORM OF NEGLIGENCE OR STATUTORY OR REGULATORY VIOLATION) AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANY RELEASED PARTY WAS AWARE OR NOTIFIED OF THE HARM, DAMAGE OR LOSS SUFFERED OR ALLEGED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY ATTORNEYS' FEES, COSTS, EXPENSE OR OTHER AMOUNT INCURRED BY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CLAIM OR PROCEEDING RELATING TO THESE RULES, THE PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE OR OTHER RELATED MATTER.

As used in these Rules, "Released Party(ies)" means and includes, Sponsor, its advertising and/or promotion agencies, the company(ies) or person(s) owning, operating or offering any Social Platform, any person or entity in whole or in part designing, manufacturing, assembling, distributing, processing, providing, supplying, fulfilling, delivering or honoring any prize, any of the contractors, licensors or suppliers of any of the foregoing, any of the parents, subsidiaries or affiliates of any of the foregoing and any of the directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives of any of the foregoing. Any recourse you have regarding any such liability, claims, injuries, losses, harm or damages is limited solely and exclusively to the Sponsor and not to any maker or provider of any prize, not to any other Released Party nor to any other person or entity. In addition to Sponsor, any Released Party may enforce any provision of these Rules that specifically addresses a Released Party and, according to its express terms, represents an actual or potential protection or benefit for the Released Party.

YOU HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, INJURY, LOSS, LIABILITY OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, RESULTING FROM YOUR BREACH OF THESE RULES, OTHER WRONGFUL CONDUCT, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, ANY AUTHORIZATION, CONSENT, AGREEMENT OR LICENSE YOU MAKE OR GIVE UNDER THESE RULES OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION, OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR IN ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY.

YOU AGREE THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES HAVE NOT MADE, NOR ARE IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR, ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, RELEASED PARTIES DO NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE OR ANY OTHER WEBSITE, MOBILE APPLICATION OR SYSTEM AND THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY INTERRUPTIONS, MALFUNCTIONS OR ERRORS RELATED THERETO.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, delayed, garbled, damaged, stolen or misdirected submissions, or problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, inability to access a website, inability to submit an entry, impairment of the winner selection process, or fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions or inaccurate, incomplete, unintentionally omitted or otherwise flawed transcription, tracking, collection or recognition of entries or of entry information, whether caused by Sponsor, another Released Party, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur (whether in the processing of submissions or otherwise) and/or which may damage a user's system or limit an Eligible Person's participation, or ability to participate in, the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, damaged, postage-due or misdirected entries or mail. Released Parties are not responsible for issues related to any background check, including errors or mistakes in conducting the check or errors or mistakes in the results produced or the handling, interpretation or use thereof. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered may be disqualified in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, a circumstance(s) of the kind described above in this paragraph or any other cause(s) that, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of any aspect of the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, the winner selection process or the submission, tracking, collection or recognition of entries, or should the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, be unable to run as planned for any other reason, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion and with or without notice, to adjust, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and/or its operation and, if so adjusted, modified or terminated, to, at its sole and absolute discretion, select the potential Winner by way of a random drawing or like method Sponsor may choose (for example, a drawing from among such entries as Sponsor may practicably and without significant burden be able to identify as duly submitted and received notwithstanding such compromise or inability). Adjustments to the exact Start Time or End Time of the Promotion Period (and thus to the Promotion Period itself) are permitted, to accommodate the functioning of related systems or processes, or their operation, maintenance, administration or management; Sponsor is free to make or allow such adjustments in its sole and absolute discretion, with or without notice, without limiting any other discretion, right, power or authority of Sponsor, and without limiting, and regardless of, any other terms of these Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE OR ANY ONLINE SERVICE RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such term or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Rules or interferes with the Sweepstakes in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such entrant's eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an individual to access any website, page, form, mobile application or other medium or system associated with the Sweepstakes via a bot, script or other similar or brute force method or attack, or via any other unauthorized means, will result in that individual and/or that individual's email address and/or IP address becoming ineligible in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, (i) to disqualify from eligibility to enter, participate in or win a prize in this Promotion any person who, with respect to this Promotion or any other sweepstakes or promotion of Sponsor, was disruptive to (or acted in any manner inconsistent with the smooth operation of) this or any such other sweepstakes or promotion or was non-compliant with its rules and (ii)to take any measures (technological or otherwise) it in good faith deems potentially useful to prevent, lessen or inhibit entry or participation in, or disruption of, the Sweepstakes or its operation by any such person.
DISPUTES; GOVERNING LAW; CHOICE OF VENUE.
All issues and questions concerning these Rules, including, without limitation, the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or concerning the rights and obligations of any person and/or of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Missouri, without giving effect to any conflicts of laws rules (whether of the State of Missouri, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Missouri. Any and all disputes, claims or actions arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, and any judicial proceedings shall take place exclusively the Circuit Court of Boone County, Missouri, or the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri – Jefferson City. To the extent permissible under applicable law, you hereby waive any right to a jury with respect to any such proceeding.

Sponsor reserves the right to identify the Winner on only a limited basis (e.g., by first or last name or initial and State, region or town of residence) or by providing full (or fuller) identifying information as to the Winner.
GENERAL.
You agree to comply with all laws, regulations and court orders applicable to your acts and omissions relating in any way to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is free to interpret these Rules in its good faith but otherwise sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor's good faith interpretation of these Rules, and Sponsor's decisions as to any and all matters relating to this Sweepstakes, are final and binding. Any interpretation of these Rules, and any such decision, by Sponsor shall be presumed to be in good faith and otherwise proper. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release Sponsor and the other Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, injuries, losses, harm or damages of any kind caused by, resulting from or otherwise arising in connection with this Sweepstakes, participation in this Sweepstakes, the operation, administration, change, termination or cancellation of the Sweepstakes or any acceptance, use, misuse or consequence of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion (i) to modify, postpone, defer or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time and with or without notice and (ii) to disqualify any individual who Sponsor suspects has tampered or attempted to tamper with the entry or winner-selection process, violates these Rules, or acts in an inappropriate or disruptive manner, or with intent to (or in effect does) annoy, abuse, disrupt, threaten or harass any person or this Sweepstakes. These Rules constitute the full and exclusive agreement relating to the Sweepstakes. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and any statement, document or communication relating to the Sweepstakes, these Rules shall control and prevail. Entrants may copy these Rules for the sole purpose of personal use and not for any commercial purpose whatsoever. Notwithstanding any other terms of these Rules, this Sweepstakes is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
